WHY BOTHER WITH VOLUNTEERING?

Life can be very busy at times and it is easy to think we have no spare time left at the end of a hard week. However, volunteering can demand a little or a lot from you , it depends on what you want to do. It can also refresh, enliven and improve your life!

Volunteering is if you want to do any of the following:

  • Learn new skills
  • Improve your self-confidence
  • Enrich your CV
  • Meet new people
  • Gain insight into a particular career
  • Gather relevant work experience for job or course applications
  • Help your community, or a cause you believe in
  • Get a good reference
  • Establish useful contacts
  • Have fun

If any of the above are what you are after then volunteering may be just what you're looking for!
